Okay, sure, O'Connor's letter was at least partially an attention-getting stunt, otherwise she wouldn't have made it public. But Miley Cyrus has spoken several times about being inspired by O'Connor. And, above all else, nothing gives Miley the right to make fun of a person with a legitimate mental disability. Thus far, most people have excused Miley's behavior because of her age. But getting whacky on stage is one thing, and slamming the proverbial door in your mom's face is another entirely.
